Safety is imperative in our Academy. We do not believe that being injured while training BJJ should be something that is normalized. You’ll see people joking often online about their BJJ injuries, but this is often do to a poor training environment and lack of proper training culture and etiquette. We believe students should be taught how to train safely and properly so that BJJ can be a life long enjoyment. Learning how to treat yourself, your training partner, respect the rules of BJJ, and letting go of your ego are all important parts of longevity in Jiu Jitsu training. That said, our instructors still pay close attention and strive to maintain a safe training environment.
